Knitting the Community together - An inspirational real-life example of asset-based thinking & doing
Would you like to find out more about the skills, knowledge, connections, and potential that exists within a community?
We welcome all our network members to come along and hear from our Inspirational speakers Natalie Smith and Melanie Charnock Directors of 'Gather Create Grow' who have benefited from the principles of asset (strength) based approaches, from inception of their organisation through to becoming an established and successful organisation.
"Learning about asset-based approaches has been really useful & relevant to us as a community member we instinctively do this but didn't know the theory behind it".
The session will also give you an opportunity to identify strengths, resources, and expertise that you have as a person and as a community, and how you can work collaboratively and create positive connections.
This session is aimed at network members who are representing organisations, businesses or as Leicestershire residents with an interest in their community.
