This section of the website provides a range of support, information and resources related to Grants and Funding.

Information provided here includes a series of Funding Bulletins, from a range of funders, along with details of support provided to voluntary and community sector groups, charities and social enterprises, by other relevant organisations.

LCC Monthly Funding Information Bulletins

Funding & Grants Information Bulletins are produced by Leicestershire County Council, on a monthly basis, using information from a range of sources.

Bulletins will include funding opportunities which are mainly for the benefit of not-for-profit community organisations, charities and social enterprises.

However, some of the information will also be relevant for local authorities and other organisations, such as academic institutions.

Leicestershire Funding Toolkit

The Leicestershire Funding Toolkit is a free searchable database of funding opportunities, hosted on Voluntary Action Leicestershire's website.

The Funding Toolkit contains details of thousands of local, regional and national funding opportunities for not-for-profit organisations operating in Leicestershire.

The website is free-to-use, and requires you to complete a simple one-off registration form to enable you to use the website.

Once you have registered as a user on the website, you will be able to benefit from the following:

  • Access to a range of grants and funding opportunities
  • Information about national funding available, along with funding available from trusts and foundations
  • A series of pages dedicated to local funding opportunities
  • Opportunities to undertake targeted funding searches and the ability to save the details of each search
  • A weekly email bulletin with details of new funding opportunities
