On the 6th June 2019 Ashby held its first 'Community Roadshow'. Community groups and residents were invited to come along to find out more about the groups and activities on offer in Ashby, and how they could get involved.
Celebration, Learning and Opportunity!
On the day around 30 representatives from local groups along with many residents attended to find out more about how they could make connections in their local community. Since the event more connections have been made, strengthening local relations, referring people to other groups and activities, and sharing of information/events.

Ashby Wall of Fame
The Ashby Wall of Fame was created at the Community Roadshow by Andrew Barson, Local Area Coordinator for Ashby de la Zouch. Andrew has now successfully recreated the Wall of Fame at Ashby Library. Below you can click on the Facebook Video and turn up the volume to hear Andrew describing the Wall of Fame.
