Enderby Community Surgery

Enderby Parish Council in partnership with the Police and Local area Co-ordinators (LACS) hold monthly surgeries open to the wider community.

The surgeries provide an opportunity for local residents ask questions, discuss any concerns that they may have or be able to share good news stories from their local community.

A number of local residents have received support through the Parish Council surgeries, including a homeless individual who was identified as a vulnerable adult and was therefore signposted to the appropriate agencies to access support.

Discussions and topics at the surgeries amongst a few have included;

  • Neighbourhood watch
  • Parking
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Over-hanging branches
  • Trading standards

The surgeries are open to all residents and are based in the local library, therefore are accessible due to being in a less formal setting.

The Parish Council and its partners in this project continue to develop the surgeries and the offer to the local community of Enderby, to create dialog and offer support for its residents at a community level.
