We were thrilled to see one of our SHIRE Grant funded projects featured on national TV on Tuesday 12th July 2022!

@Raising Health is the charity for Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, which provides mental health, learning disability and community health services across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Raising Health ran a session for veterans to swim with Pete Lewin Newfoundlands rescue dogs, at Stanton Lake, in June this year. This session, funded by a SHIRE Grant, was featured on The One Show yesterday evening, helping to demonstrate the therapeutic benefits of outdoor swimming with dogs.

It was great to see on national TV how our SHIRE Grants programme continues to invest in community projects which make such a difference to people who have experienced challenges in their lives.
