Governors are one of the largest group of volunteers in the country and have an important part to play in raising school standards.

Leicestershire County Council are looking to appoint volunteers for schools all over Leicestershire. Governors play a key part in the strategic planning of a school, whether its responsibility for recruiting the Head Teacher or balancing the budget, there is a wide variety of functions which falls under the role of being a School Governor. Full training and support will be provided, all you need is a willingness and commitment to the role.
