Coalville Education Partnership
Funding awarded to enable an alternative education provider in Coalville to prepare and deliver meals to local residents during the pandemic.

Lutterworth Crisis Action is an inspiring community initiative which has been established to provide support to residents in Lutterworth during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Autism Friendly Kibworth
Autism Friendly Kibworth is part of a new initiative, community lead, supported by Leicestershire County Council, called Friendly Communities of Leicestershire. Friendly Communities of Leicestershire is an approach which aims to facilitate and support communities to be resilient and enable places where any individual can feel welcome, supported, and safe and integrated wherever they live in Leicestershire.
Neighbourhood Planning - Youth Engagement
In June 2018, Barlestone Neighbourhood Plan group undertook a special engagement event at a local school in order to engage young people within the community and obtain their views and aspirations for their village.

Community Volunteering Action (COVA)
The COVA project is currently running in four streets in Barwell with the aim of supporting local residents to bring forward their own ideas and suggestions for improving their community.

Transferring a community asset from Leicestershire County Council to local ownership and control
Measham Community Emergency Store
Working with the County Council's support, Measham have prepared their own Community Response Plan and created an Emergency Store, enabling them to be prepared for any severe weather or other emergency that might come their way.
Walking Football
The Walking Football club provides GPs with a non-medical referral option that can operate alongside existing medical treatments to improve health and well-being.
As well as being able to increase fitness levels, participants emotional health gets a boost as by turning out for regular games, service users meet new people, lifting their mood. They are encouraged to meet weekly exercise goals. One game of walking football is designed to last for an hour and the rules are identical to five-a-side football but with one major exception - if you run, you get a free kick.
Desford Good Neighbour Scheme
The scheme provides a service to the villages of Desford, Botcheston, Newtown Unthank and Kirby Grange.
Local people are supported in a variety of ways like shopping, gardening, walking the dog, a lift to a hospital/doctors appointment. Although small tasks they can make a big different to someone life.
