The Coronavirus Central Hub is located at St Philip and St James in Ratby and utlilises the assistance and support of a number of community volunteers to provide essential services for local residents. The work of the Hub includes the day to day management and provision of essential food and care packages to those who need these during the pandemic.

The Hub has over 100 volunteers who can respond to a range of tasks, such as delivering food and care packages, collecting and delivering prescriptions, dog walking, posting mail and any shopping requirements.

The Hub also operates a phone befriending service for those who are feeling particularly lonely and need a friendly voice at the end of the phone.

Without their team of dedicated volunteers, the Hub would not be able to continue to give the support that the most vulnerable residents have needed and will continue to need during these exceptional circumstances.
