Mental Health Awareness Week 2022

The theme of this year's mental health awareness week, taking place from 9-15 May, is loneliness.

More and more people from all walks of life are becoming affected by loneliness and it's having an impact on people's physical and mental health. The Start a Conversation partnership is encouraging residents of Leicestershire and Rutland to start talking about their mental health.

Our Public Health team has put together a digital toolkit of messages to share across social media, aimed at reaching a number of different audiences, signposting to support services and advice available.

If you would like to sign up to receive this toolkit ahead of Mental Health Awareness Week, please email
