Farmers visiting Melton Mowbray Market can take the opportunity to pop in and have a free health check with one of the nurses from the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network (LRSN). The nurses visit the market twice monthly and offer health checks to those in the farming community.

A visit to the LRSN nurse includes a blood pressure check, cholesterol test, and blood sugar check, the nurse is also available for a general health chat if that's what you need.

LRSN is aware how difficult it can be to get an appointment with a GP especially when you are dependant on so many factors out of your control to get the job done. The team at LRSN welcome visitors to the market for a health check with no need to remove your muddy boots, come along as you are and discuss any health worries you may have.
