The Documentary Media Centre is proud to present 'Mental Health in the Media: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'.

Local mental health campaigner Julian Harrison will be in conversation with John Coster to discuss portrayals of mental health and illness on film and television.

Are they helpful?

Offensive?

Or just damaging?

Are mental health depictions accurate?

If not, what can be done about it?

This event will take place on the evening of Tuesday 21st November (6.00 pm to 8.00 pm) in Lecture Theatre 2, the George Davis Centre (formerly known as the Centre for Medicine), University of Leicester, Lancaster Road, Leicester LE1 7HA.
