The Yellow Book and the University of Leicester's Wellbeing Matters campaign (https://www2.le.ac.uk/colleges/medbiopsych/research/public-engagement-1/health-matters) are offering a FREE event that is taking place at the University of Leicester's brand new Centre for Medicine, The George Davies Centre, on Saturday 2nd December 2017 beginning at 10 am.
There will be live music and talks surrounding the topic of mental health and wellbeing. There will also be small group mindfulness sessions.
The live band 'Refuge' will be performing a range of songs from their albums, as played on BBC Introducing, to promote mental wellbeing. Their new single 'I Feel Better When', recorded at Abbey Road Studios with the #rethinkyourmindChoir is being released the previous day.
You can actually get involved and help them #HitTheCharts with the Thunderclap campaign - https://www.thunderclap.it/projects/64589-ifeelbetterwhen
There's a morning and an afternoon session and you can come to either, both or at any time in between!
