Consultation on Melton Mowbray Distributor Road

Melton Mowbray's town centre suffers from traffic congestion especially during peak commuting times. LCCl has worked closely with Melton Borough Council and partners to develop a recommended route for the creation of a distributor road around the outskirts of the town. The distributor road forms a key part of the draft Melton Local Plan which sets out a vision for sustainable growth in the Borough until 2036.

The recommended route will help to reduce congestion within Melton Mowbray's town centre and provide access to future housing and employment growth areas. The attached consultation brochure contains information on the scheme. Read More »
