London Hearts - Funding Public Access Defibrillators
Posted: Mon, 21 Sep 2020 11:52
London Hearts (registered charity 1180901) are helping to fund Public Access Defibrillators (PADs) in communities all over the country. When someone has a cardiac arrest, timely intervention is the key to survival. By making more defibrillators available, and by training more people to use them, the better the chance of survival for a cardiac arrest victim.
Generally funding of up to £300 is available per PAD which needs to be purchased from the charity. The London Hearts 1st Responders will also provide an awareness /training session for up to 50 people at a local community venue of the applicants choice. Please note that during the pandemic the training sessions cannot take place, however a link to an on-line session will be provided. The training sessions will resume as soon as regulations allow.
