Leicester Comedy Festival with Mrs Barbara Nice

Age UK Leicester Shire & Rutland are very excited to be involved in this year's Leicester Comedy Festival. On Saturday 8th February from 4pm the public will have a chance to see Mrs Barbara Nice (2019's Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist and formally of Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights) at Clarence House, Humberstone Gate, Leicester. Tickets are £12.00

Annual Public Lecture 2020 - Developing An Inclusive Education Ethos

Equality Action are hosting their 10th Annual Public Lecture on Monday 17th February 2020 (6.45pm arrival for 7pm start - finish by 8.30pm) in partnership with Loughborough University.

The guest speaker is Andrew Moffat, MBE, renowned for the development of 'No Outsiders', a whole school ethos celebrating diversity and promoting inclusion.

Andrew was awarded an MBE for services to Equality and Diversity in Education and his expertise and insight will be hugely valuable to everyone who attends.

Young Leicestershire - A Vision for Impact Measurement East Midlands Training Day

Young Leicestershire have organised a full days training event to support groups to effectively monitor and record the outcomes / benefits that they deliver to young people. This will be based on the Outcomes Framework

Bethia McNeil, the CEO from the Centre for Youth Impact, will be delivering what looks to be a really productive days training.

To cover costs there is fee of £35 for the whole day including lunch.

The Together Project is an initiative funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, which is aimed at enabling VCSE sector organisations to access information, advice and skills from businesses in the private sector.

Securing the support of businesses is an extremely valuable way for VCSE organisations to develop their own skills, capabilities and sustainable, to help their organisation to deliver their services more effectively.
