The Communities Fund was established in response to the Coronavirus pandemic, in order to support voluntary and community sector groups and organisations to manage the impacts of the crisis.

£1.5 million of funding was made available by Leicestershire County Council, to help charities and community organisations to continue to undertake activities which provide help and support to vulnerable people.

In total, 160 organisations have been awarded funding and a list of the funded projects can be seen below.
