The Learning Corner

The Learning Corner

Recognise assets that perhaps are already in your neighbourhood or community, to consider how you can achieve your outcomes (specific actions that can be obtained by applying asset based thinking) or how to bring together impacts that have real meaning in your community.

The examples included below, focus on aspects of the asset based thinking model, which you have seen listed and have been briefly explained in the ''What is Asset Based Thinking and Doing'' page. The aim is to help you visualise more clearly a specific element and learn how you can maximise what you or your community already have. These examples cannot cover all the contingencies and issues that may appear when you start thinking about asset based doing (putting into practice what you know), but, we hope they can support you in your decisions.

The information below will help you move through the different stages of an asset based project

Friendly Community Approach
