Leicester Cathedral Consultation

Leicester Cathedral has embarked an exciting £11.3 million project which aims to put the Cathedral building back into good order, restore its Victorian and Arts & Crafts heritage, create accessible and engaging spaces, and to improve the individual experience of being within the Cathedral.
An important part of the Leicester Cathedral Revealed project is making sure that the Cathedral is welcoming to everyone and they would very much appreciate your help with this.
They would like to invite you to a workshop at the Cathedral to help them to better understand areas like:
- how do local people perceive the Cathedral and what might stop them from visiting;
- what can we do to encourage as many people as possible to visit and to enjoy the building;
- what kind of activities about Leicester Cathedral, its history and significance to Leicester would excite and inspire people. This could be working with schools and community groups, talks and tours, art projects, intergenerational projects, history projects, festivals, anything!
Please attend one of the two workshops taking place at the Cathedral. They are on:
Friday 11th May 10am - 12pm
Tuesday 15th May 1.30pm - 3.30pm
This is a great opportunity to meet other community organisations, as well as to share your views on how we can involve even more people in Leicester Cathedral.
If you have any questions or would like to come to one of the workshops (both sessions will cover the same content so you just need to come to one) please email Alis Templeton at email@example.com by the 30th April.
