The Annual Gypsy Traveller Conference focuses on challenging pre-conceptions and supporting progress for Gypsy and Traveller' people and what the future holds for them in modern society.

The intention of the conference is to help delegates gain a greater awareness of the issues faced by people from the Gypsy and Traveller community now and in the future and what that will mean for partner organisations in adapting our own response to problems that may occur.

Learning Disability Health Promotion Event

Venue: The BRITE Centre, Braunstone Avenue, Leicester LE3 1LE

This event is aimed at everyone from children through to the elderly and will include lots of health information, as well as talks from health professionals.

There will be a range of activities and information available on the day, from the NHS and other local organisations to help people stay healthy and to find out about local services that support health and well-being.

On the day, people can have an eye screening check, diabetes check, blood pressure, body mass index measured and receive health advice.
