Leicestershire Inter Faith Forum Meeting 2018
Faith Communities working together for the benefit of everyone
Thursday 13th December 2018, 5.30pm (refreshments & networking) till 7.30pm at County Hall, Glenfield
The Leicestershire Inter Faith Forum provides a space for faith or belief communities and people to come together, share their experiences and work together to achieve strong, cohesive and resilient communities.
Everyone with an interest in promoting positive relations between people of different beliefs is welcome to attend.
The evening will be opened by Mrs Louise Richardson CC, Cabinet Lead Member for Equalities, and starts at 5.30pm with light refreshments (vegetarian). It will conclude at 7:30pm. Wudhu and prayer facilities will be available.
The Inter Faith Forum currently operates through an annual event, usually with invited speakers, on a theme of interest to faith communities.
This meeting provides opportunities to network, express your views on how the Forum can better reflect the needs and expectations of faith communities across the county, and to learn about the proposals for a new unitary authority for Leicestershire and what this might mean for inter faith work.
